The Imaging Research Centre has research-dedicated 3 Tesla GE whole-body short-bore MRI system with 32 independent receiver channels.
The MR is capable of continuous high-speed, high-resolution echoplanar imaging. For fMRI data collection the facility has an integrated visual display presentation system, Current Designs response pad system, MR Confon auditory presentation system. Stimulus display and response collection is carried out using laptop computers with Eprime stimulus presentation software or NBS Presentation software,
Well established image processing packages dedicated to medical image analysis are installed on all 12 of the Apple Imac / Mac Mini / Mac Pro work stations in the laboratory, including freesurfer, BrainVoyager, and Statistical Parametric Mapping. Data storage is possible on our 18 Tbyte Raid System.
